Using Delegate/Attendee User Defined Fields
Do you need to gather up information about your Delegates/Attendees? Do you need to separate that information up for different departments? This guide is for you.
Step-by-step guide
Do you use the Attendee user defined fields to gather up important information?
Do you need to know the age range? Or special conditions? Maybe a sporting fact like swimming ability? Is your attendee allergic to anything? If you have an event where there are multiple ‘strange’ diets, a UDF might be a good way to collect the information
When a rooming list is sent out to the client, the UDF’s can be on the template to be filled in:
When imported back into Kx>Attendee screen, the UDF’s can then be separated via filters.
This means that the list can be broken down for different departments.
The Special Conditions might need to go to a medical officer:
You filter on the special conditions column
It shows only those attendees with the special conditions you have ticked. This list can then be printed or emailed direct to the medical officer
With the ‘strange’ diets – these can go directly to the kitchens.
Attendee UDF are created in KxConfiguration>Contacts>User Defined Fields
You can create any number and any sort of answer to them
In an event, you can pick ALL or some of the UDF to use, from the Details page
