Department notes
Information associated with the event that is not noted on other screens should be entered here. Open any event and on the left hand side open the Notes tab.
Click a department name to select it (make sure it is highlighted) and then click the Add button
The Add Department Note window will appear and you can begin typing into the text box.
Note: If using Standard Notes, right-click in the text box > select Standard Notes > pick the note to use.
If you select the Add Action check box on the bottom right, it will add an action to your checklist. For further instructions on either of these items please contact the Kx Trainers
Options
On the right-hand side of the Add Note screen, the note can be assigned to a particular day.
The Related To Time will automatically default to 12am. If this section is not changed, the time will not print on documents/reports.
Once all pieces of information have been filled out, click Save.
To add a new or separate note in any category, highlight the Department and click Add again
Viewing Notes
Once a note has been added to a department, the screen will look as below
Any department with a note against it will show with a green check-mark beside the title.
The currently selected department will display all notes in order of when they were last edited. You can adjust the order by highlighting a note and selecting the up or down arrow on the upper right hand side. If you select the yellow arrow in the middle, it will reset the notes to the original order of when they were added.
The selected note details will display in the bottom part of the screen. (This section is not type-able, you must click the edit button to adjust the note).
