Invoicing a Deposit
Note: Invoiced Deposits must be a configured system setting. Contact your Account or Project Manager for this option.
Within your Event you need to first go to the Financial Tab along the left hand side of the screen
Select the Deposits tab at the top center.
Click Add in the bottom right corner of the screen. Select the date the deposit is due, how you want the amount to calculate, and what charge template you want to use to track this deposit. Then click Save.
Once saved you will see the amount on the screen
When ready to create the deposit invoice click Create Deposit Charge in the bottom right hand corner. Kx will create a line-item in the current charges screen.
You can now preview / raise an invoice for the deposit to send to the client.
To settle the deposit, access the Receive Payment of Invoice Screen and apply a payment just like you would to any outstanding invoice.
To Reflect Paid Deposits on an Invoice
Add charges in the current charges screen as normal (for more information see the Invoicing Help Guide).
Click Creates from your final or latest quote
The deposit charge will appear as a -1 quantity.
Preview and/or raise your final invoice from this screen.
